The Day After The Twestival

Yesterday me & a group of college associates went to the Edinburgh Twestival and I must say it was a truly amazing evening. I ended up drinking more than I thought I would, mainly because people were buying me drinks but hey it was alright in the end. Today I have felt a bit rough so no work has been completed unfortunately but I did polish my room and strip my bed ! Anyway need to go relax with the gorgeous girlfriend.

Busy Digital Day !

After having a BSOD – Blue Screen Of Death for the first time since I got this PC I decided it was time for a major backup ! The BSOD prompted me that I hadn’t carried out one in ages so now seemed likes a good time especially since I have a few websites & work that I’ve been recently working on, really couldn’t handle losing all my data. Problem is though my data is so fragmented and inconcise I have files stored on my desktop, my laptop, the PS3. Not to mention that I usually back up all my sisters music & videos for her. So it was just a case of backing up major things like my Flash Drive data, my pictures etc.

I also printed out a wide variety of C# code I’ve written, added comments on almost every action so I can use them for future reference. On another note my funky Firefox poster arrived so now I’ll be constantly remembered to use open standards.

To finish off tomorrow is the big day, Twitter festival kicks off, seems like a lot of contribution from outside company’s so hoping for a really fun filled night with plenty of networking. I also hear theres free lanyards !
