Tomorrows class is Sound Theory with Mr Chris. Should be a good class now that were starting to settle in and the works starting to flow. Initially there was nothing really for us to do other than wait around for work but now things are starting to pick up. I have a pretty good idea of what I plan on doing for the Practical element of the class which is a 15 minute Documentary Podcast about a topic of our choice. For the topic I chose the World Wide Web / Internet, mainly because theres not much else I could talk about for 15 minutes and the topic is so diverse it will allow me to branch of into other areas that are strongly associated with the internet like distributed computing, online education etc etc. I have also lined up a diverse group of people to interview, 2 of whom are tutors who actually taught me everything I know but who are each completely different. The other is Mari Smith who I met recently at college, she specialises in Relationship Marketing using the likes of Facebook & Twitter, I must note I am an avid fan of both these services.
All in all the class should be really good especially because I know what I want to do, I have excellent people to interview & it’s pretty much different to anything I’ve ever done.
